Wheaton Eye Clinic, a valued repeat client with locations in both Wheaton and Bartlett, has engaged Doyle for various projects over the years, including parking lot expansions, renovations, re-roofing, bathroom updates, and additional medical office buildouts. For the Wheaton facility, they sought to transform an unusable basement space into accessible, functional areas. This project involved implementing an extensive remodel of an existing 8,000 SF area to create new physicians’ offices, conference rooms, and the installation of an elevator, alongside a complete upgrade of the HVAC system. The primary challenge was integrating the new elevator into the existing building while maintaining the clinic's operations throughout construction.
In addition to the Wheaton project, we also provided construction services for a full interior remodel of a 3,899-square-foot former bank facility to establish a satellite office in Bartlett. This new location was designed for state-of-the-art eye testing, significantly expanding the clinic's footprint. Repurposing the existing building required careful planning and coordination, particularly with the City of Bartlett, to ensure compliance with parking standards and adequate space for visitors. Both projects were successfully completed on time and within budget, enhancing Wheaton Eye Clinic’s capacity to serve their patients effectively.
