VNA Health Care sought to expand its mission of providing comprehensive, accessible care to the Aurora community by redeveloping a portion of the former historic Rush Copley Hospital campus. The 28,000 SF adaptive reuse project now includes 30 patient rooms, medical offices, lab areas, a pharmacy, an on-site testing lab, and a wellness kitchen designed to educate the public on healthy living.
As part of a historically significant structure, the project came with a unique set of challenges that required creative problem-solving. The Doyle team worked alongside the architect to develop solutions that satisfied the requirements of the historic society while also meeting the functional and design needs of the client. Through thoughtful coordination and attention to detail, we delivered a fully modern clinic within a preserved historic space.
