The Westmont Park District wanted to add a flexible gathering space to Veterans Memorial Park that could support day-to-day programming, community events, and rentals for all ages. The new Park Place facility provides a multipurpose facility with capacity for up to 70 people, kitchenettes, upgraded restrooms, and an overhead door that opens to a patio overlooking the rest of the park.

Because the surrounding park and athletic fields remained open during construction, the Doyle team needed to maintain safe public access while keeping the work on schedule. Clear site boundaries, phased activity, and close coordination with the Park District helped minimize disruption, and the project was completed within budget while allowing the community to continue using the surrounding spaces throughout construction.
