Doyle has served as the owner’s representative for the Old Sorrel Ranch development in Cedar City, UT since 2019. Our client purchased this 500-acre, mountainous-terrain site with the vision of transforming it into a thriving mixed-use development through a phased approach. Initially, the land sat idle, but as the town developed, so did the project. As planned, the project has been executed in multiple phases, with Doyle managing contractors to ensure compliance with city requirements at every stage.


The first phase involved the construction of a residential subdivision of single-family homes, which included offsite public utility, stormwater management, and pavement improvements. In the second phase, additional residential properties were developed with continued improvements to public utilities and signage. The third, fourth and fifth phases expanded into earthwork and utility installations for future commercial/retail developments, including constructing stormwater and sanitary systems, water connections, and additional pavement connections and improvements.


Our role has been integral to keeping the project on track across multiple phases, ensuring that the necessary infrastructure is in place to support the future growth of this community. With each phase, the development moves closer to becoming a well-rounded, sustainable part of the town's fabric.
