Forge Virtual Studios set out to create the Midwest’s largest and most advanced virtual production facility through the adaptive reuse of a former warehouse building. The complete interior transformation resulted in a 30,000 SF state-of-the-art studio designed to support production companies, agencies, and creative teams. The new space features Studio A with an 82’ x 16’ LED wall and Studio B with a 25’ x 13’ LED wall, along with high-end production environments and filmmaking amenities. The facility also includes fully equipped production offices, tech-enabled conference rooms, multiple green rooms and restrooms, and creatively repurposed shipping containers that now serve as editing and production suites, VIP lounges, entertainment areas, and catering spaces.
From the earliest stages, Doyle worked alongside Forge to help identify a building capable of supporting their vision and served as design-builder throughout the project. The extensive build-out required significant coordination with owner vendors and specialty equipment installers to integrate complex production technology within the existing structure while maintaining schedule and quality expectations. Through proactive planning and close collaboration, we delivered a flexible, high-performance studio environment tailored to Forge’s operational needs.
