Dogtopia of Downtown Evanston sought to expand its presence in Evanston with a larger facility designed to better serve its growing customer base. Doyle completed the adaptive reuse of a former bank, transforming the existing tenant space into a new 5,000 SF dog daycare facility tailored to Dogtopia's operational needs. The project included complete interior demolition and a full build-out of the modern daycare environment.
Converting the former bank required extensive demolition, including removal of the existing vault and other specialized infrastructure unique to the building's previous use. Located along an active downtown street, the project also required careful coordination of deliveries, site logistics, and construction activities to minimize disruptions to neighboring businesses and pedestrian traffic. Through proactive planning and close communication, the Doyle team successfully delivered a space that supports Dogtopia's continued growth in the Evanston community.
