The 101 West Front Street project began as a speculative real estate venture to redevelop a 110-year-old building in the heart of Downtown Wheaton. The complete structural renovation and gut rehabilitation transformed the historic structure into a fully modernized mixed-use facility. The redeveloped building now features ground-floor retail and dining space, along with a 5,700 SF second-floor build-out that serves as the new headquarters for T2 Capital Management.
Due to the age and condition of the building, extensive structural work was required, including the removal and replacement of the roof structure, reinforcement of all floors to current code, and the installation of a new elevator and building systems. The phased roof structure removal, completed over the winter months, demanded significant planning and coordination to keep the project on schedule while ensuring safety and stability throughout construction. The Doyle team successfully delivered the project on time and within budget, providing a revitalized property that blends historic character with state-of-the-art functionality.
